A New Awakening has offices in Little Village – a community on the southwest side of Chicago – and Cicero – the suburb to the west of Little Village. Both are working class immigrant communities, and a large majority of the people who live there are Mexican and/or Mexican American. Here is some basic demographic data for these two communities:
